Bill Haney has Gervonta Davis in his sights.
Bill Haney just recently took to social media to gloat about a newly acquired vehicle as well as take some shots at Gervonta “Tank” Davis, with Haney saying that Tank is on their list of fighters they want to take on the in the coming year.
“Coach Calvin, Coach Kenny, Team Tank Davis — I got some good news and I got some bad news. The good news is Devin done bought me another Mercedes. Another one. The bad news is The Grinch didn’t buy you guys one [laughs]. But Deebo is looking for (Tank) and he’s on the list. So let’s see if 2026 you can’t influence your man to be more B-more like.”
Devin Haney is most recently coming off a clear win over Brian Norman to win a welterweight title while Tank has been inactive, most recently losing out on an opportunity to fight Jake Paul for a lot of money; an opportunity that has now gone to Anthony Joshua.
It’s unclear how Tank intends to proceed with his professional fighting career from here on out, often mentioning retirement, but if a Tank vs Haney fight were to come together it would be one of the more welcomed fights of 2026.
