Josh Mulligan (23) will be allowed to leave Hibernian this January for a reasonable fee, according to a report from Foot Mercato. There are plenty of clubs interested in the young Scottish midfielder.
Mulligan has impressed during the opening months of the season and has since made his debut for the Scotland national team. His rise has not been lost on those south of the border, Foot Mercato understands, with Premier League duo Nottingham Forest and Leeds United both interested in the midfielder.
Lille target available at an ‘affordable’ price in January
However, there is also interest from abroad. The publication reports that Bundesliga side Wolfsburg and Ligue 1 side Lille OSC have also made enquiries about Mulligan with a view to a potential move during the upcoming January transfer window.
Hibernian are not opposed to a sale, and Foot Mercato state that he will be an “affordable” option for clubs next month.
