Tyler Bass played in all 17 games during the 2024 regular season, converting on 24 of 29 field goal attempts (82.8%) and 59 of 64 extra point attempts (92.2%). The highlight of his season was a 61-yard game-winning kick over the Dolphins in Week 9. In the postseason, Bass was a perfect 6-for-6 with a long of 53 yards, and he also was 7-for-7 on extra points.
2025 outlook
Bass came up big for the Bills down the stretch of the postseason and will hope to ride that momentum into 2025. There were concerns going into last year after a down year where he made just two of five field goal attempts in the 2023 postseason, but he bounced back in a big way. He'll be relied upon in big moments again for a Bills team that will surely find themselves in tense playoff situations again in 2025.
Biggest question: Can he be consistent like his early years in the NFL?
In 2021 and 2022, Bass made more than 87% of his field goal attempts and at least 96% of his extra points. He has made 82.8% of his FGs over the past two seasons, and in 2024 he produced a career-low 92.2% conversion rate on extra points. His extra point percentage ranked just 30th in the NFL among kickers who attempted at least ten XPs.
