Steve Sarkisian and the Texas Longhorns will be pretty happy to have linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. and defensive lineman Colin Simmons back this upcoming season. Both standouts were tabbed as Walter Camp Preseason All-Americans earlier this month. It doesn’t seem like Texas A&M Aggies offensive lineman Ar’maj Reed-Adams really cares.

Reed-Adams listened to a reporter’s question on Thursday at SEC Media Days, shooting him an annoyed look when he described Simmons and Hill as “two of the most talented front-seven players in the country.” Reed-Adams waited for the reporter to be done posing the query, rolling his eyes and dismissively shrugging his shoulders.

“Just doing what we’re supposed to do,” Reed-Adams said, answering what he thinks about the challenge. “Like, it’s gonna come. I’m not really worried about one single player at all. I’m just worried about winning the game.”

Reed-Adams started every game for Mike Elko and the Aggies last season. Reed-Adams, a Dallas native, spent the first four seasons of his college career at Kansas, playing in 31 games.

Texas’ Simmons, rounding into his sophomore campaign, won the Shawn Alexander National Freshman of the Year award and was a freshman All-American. He paced the Longhorns with nine sacks and added 14 tackles for loss.

Hill was a second-team All-American, leading his team with 16 tackles for loss. He was the only Texas player with more than 100 tackles, as well.

Sarkisian’s crew won last year’s rivalry installment on the road in College Station. The two sides will meet again on Nov. 28.
