Chelsea fans’ preferred lineup against Fulham: Only need one change

Chelsea vs. Fulham, Premier League: Preferred lineup

Enzo Maresca was forced into a last-minute change last weekend, as Cole Palmer pulled out of pre-match warmups with a groin injury. Thankfully his replacement, young Estêvão on his full debut, helped inspire Chelsea to a dynamic and impressive win against (a rather hapless) West Ham.

Fulham will pose a much greater challenge than Graham Potter’s team did, but the WAGNH Community has full faith in last week’s lineup to deliver again. Only change is requested, to restore Reece James at right back, ahead of Malo Gusto. And it’s a request made by an overwhelming 91-to-9 margin. The people have spoken!

In fact, only two players of the starting XI got below 90% of the vote.

4-2-3-1 (81%)
Sánchez (93%) | Cucurella (93%), Tosin (80%), Chalobah (93%), James (91%) | Enzo (93%), Caicedo (98%) | Neto (93%), João Pedro (96%), Estêvão (90%) | Delap (74%)

Of the rest, Andrey Santos, Jamie Gittens, and Josh Acheampong all collected 16%, with Wesley Fofana not too far behind at 12%. Nicolas Jackson got one vote, which is a nice gesture.
