NFL teams have finalized rosters to begin the 2025 season and Georgia is represented by 57 players. The total is 11 more than it was a year ago and it ranks third behind Alabama (63) and Ohio State (61). Those 57 Bulldogs are spread across 24 teams.

The 2025 NFL season will begin on Thursday, September 4 with Philadelphia taking on Dallas. The Eagles have the most Georgia-heavy roster in the NFL with seven ex-UGA players. The Cowboys have just one Bulldog on their roster in George Pickens.

“Former Bulldogs will look to extend the program’s streak of consecutive years with an alumni in the Super Bowl, as at least one Georgia alumni has appeared in the last 24 Super Bowls, which is tied for the longest active streak in college football” Georgia sports communications said in a statement. “Last season saw Nakobe Dean, Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith Jr., Kelee Ringo, Jalen Carter, and Lewis Cine win Super Bowl LIX with the Eagles. The group helped Georgia captured the 2021 national championship.

“Aside from on the field success, Georgia continues to set the standard in NFL talent production, with 62 players drafted since 2020, which leads all of college football in that span. Most recently, Georgia had 13 players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, which was second amongst all college football programs, trailing only Ohio State (14).
