MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
What has to happen for our best case scenario to come true? … Posted by Hooracane
IMO, I think CB has a very good overall offense surrounding him. While I know the WR group remains a question mark due to their inexperience, I believe the OL, TE and RB’s as a group are as good as we’ve have had in decades. I don’t think CB needs to be Cam 2.0 for us to win 10-11 games or for him to be a first rounder. He just needs to play consistent football, make solid decisions and make the throws he has proven he can make. With some pleasant surprises at WR, this offense can be just as productive as it was last year. CB needs to be very good but not spectacular. The difference between 8-9 wins and 10-11 wins will come down to the defense and coaching. Assuming, of course, we remain relatively healthy as a roster, I think Mario has just as much to prove as any player on our roster. Can he get this team over the hump or will he drop a couple of winnable games again? For the best case to occur which is an ACC title and a playoff berth, Mario will need to step up as a HC this year. He needs to prove he can win ALL the games we are expected to win. What say you?
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“We’re fired up about this group, worked hard to put this roster together. Heading into the season you love the progress, fired up, enthused, ready to roll with the progress, the pieces that are in place, the systems that have been put in place, some of the changes we’ve made. … We really do feel strongly and confident about our people.”
