Bayern Munich have endured a frustrating transfer window suffering multiple rejections from top targets but their alternative options have had a fiery start to their campaign in Bavaria.
After missing out of Florian Wirtz, Nico Williams, Bradley Barcola and Nick Woltemade, Bayern Munich landed Luis Diaz from Liverpool for a hefty transfer fee, and the Colombian hasn't disappointed.
He scored a decisive goal on his official debut for Bayern Munich in their 2-1 win over DFL Supercup followed by another goal in his Bundesliga debut as the Bavarians hammered RB Leipzig 6-0 in the curtain-raiser.
Similarly, it was also a splendid performance from Serge Gnabry, who filled in for the injured Jamal Musiala in an attacking midfield role.
The Germany international came up with a couple of assists in the first half, one for Michael Olise's second goal and another one for Diaz. He looked extremely confident in a makeshift role earning praise from Vincent Kompany and Joshua Kimmich.
Following Gnabry's performance in a No.10 role, the Bayern Munich hierarchy are at much ease in the transfer market as they believe they won't have to look for a replacement for Musiala, as per reports via Munchner Merkur.

The Bavarians are reportedly looking to sign a player who would ideally be an overall backup for Olise, Diaz and Gnabry starting alongside Harry Kane, who leads thee attack.
Who are Bayern Munich's primary targets?
Apparently, the German champions are looking at players including Jadon Sancho, Fabio Vieira and Marco Asensio.
Bayern Munich are reportedly looking for a loan to buy deal rather than a permanent signing which makes these move much tougher with only days left in the transfer window.
While Sancho has fallen out of favour at Manchester United, and is a part of the infamous 'bomb squad', he has blocked a couple of moves until now citing his high salary demands. It will be interesting to see if he agrees to take a pay cut or not when Bayern Munich come calling.
Vieira is considered surplus to requirement at Arsenal, especially with Eberechi Eze's signing, and the Portuguese star could be on the move again.
The 26-year-old spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Porto, where he had a decent campaign, as he returned with five goals and six assists from 38 appearances in all competitions.
Lastly, Asensio, who is a four-time UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid is also on the list as his contract with PSG comes to an end next year.
The versatile forward could be a great option for Bayern Munich, as he spent six months on loan at Aston Villa, and only due to PSR constraints the Villans didn't sign him permanently.
Asensio netted 10 goals and provided five assists in 37 matches across both teams in all competitions. He started nine out of his 13 Premier League games for Villa and eight out of 12 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG.
He also scored three goals in four games for Villa in the Champions League last season as the Parisians knocked them out in the quarterfinals.
