What to know about Packers' final preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks

As training camp comes to an end, the Packers will play the Seahawks in the final preseason game.

The Green Bay Packers play their final preseason game at 3 p.m. Aug. 23 against the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field.

The Packers are 1-1 in the preseason and Seattle has one win and one tie, not that preseason records mean much. The teams last played one another in December 2024 in Seattle, with the Packers scoring a 30-13 victory.

Saturday's game is for Gold package season ticket holders, who mostly reside in southern Wisconsin, although not as many in recent years as when the package was introduced in 1995.

Saturday will provide good weather for Seahawks game

Saturday afternoon will be perfect for preseason football, according to the National Weather Service Green Bay. The forecast is for sunny skies with a high of 76.

Educators to be honored during Packers Give Back Game

In collaboration with Wisconsin CESAs (Cooperative Educational Service Agencies), hundreds of educators and staff from across the state will receive a free bus ride to the game, a food and beverage gift card and tickets to a designated area in the south end zone. Honorees will be recognized on the field before the game.

Pulaski native to sing national anthem at Lambeau

Pulaski native and country music singer/songwriter Olivia Marowill sing the "Star Spangled Banner" before the game.

Also before the game, U.S. Navy veteran Todd Hope and U.S. Army veteran Sam Hope will be recognized as part of Operation Fan Mail.

Halftime to include quarterback challenge and youth scrimmage

At halftime, the Milwaukee Reagan Huskies and Milwaukee School of Languages Hawks will take part in the Girls Flag High School Quarterback Challenge, and teams from Verona Youth Football will scrimmage.

Lambeau Field ranked No. 1

USA TODAY and Sports Illustrated ranked Lambeau Field No. 1 among the 30 stadiums in the NFL to attend a football game. SI sums it up nicely: "Football is Lambeau Field, and Lambeau Field is football."

In addition, sports betting site Bookies.com, said Lambeau Field provides the best pregame experience — tailgating, stadium location and accessibility, nearby entertainment and family friendliness — in the NFL.

Additionally, Yelp, the online site where consumers review and rate businesses, restaurants and the like, rated Lambeau Field as the No. 4 professional sports stadium in the country for gameday food. It mentions specifically bratwurst and Polish sausages, cheese curds (a “must try”), buttery pretzels, rich frozen custard and, of course, cold beer.

When will stadium open?

Lambeau Field parking lots open four hours before game time, so 11 a.m. before the Seahawks game. The Lambeau Field bowl opens two hours before kickoff. The Lambeau Field Atrium, including the Packers Pro Shop, is open only to ticketed fans beginning six hours before game time. The Packers will do exit scanning, allowing fans to leave and come back, until four hours before the game.

Lambeau Field and all Packers-owned businesses in Titletown are cashless.

Where can fans park?

For those who have parking passes, the Lambeau Field lots open four hours before game time. For those who do not, parking is available at homes and businesses around Lambeau Field. We haven't had the chance to survey prices yet this year, but generally parking is between $25 and $60, depending on distance from the stadium.

Free parking on streets around Lambeau also is an option, but be mindful of parking-restriction signs, especially west and south of the stadium.

Here's where to listen to the game on radio

Packers games can be heard on the Packers Radio Network, which includes 54 stations in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois and North and South Dakota. WRNW-Milwaukee — 97.3 The Game — is the flagship station. Wayne Larrivee does play-by-play and two-time Packers Pro Bowler Larry McCarren provides analysis.

The radio broadcast will be streamed at Packers.com. The Packers mobile app will stream the radio broadcast within the Packers' home market, per NFL broadcast restrictions. Fans within the Packers' local home marketing area can watch the game on packers.com.

Seattle the 14th largest market; Green Bay the smallest

The Seattle metro area is the 14th largest market in the NFL and Green Bay is the smallest. Seattle's metro area includes 4 million people and Green Bay at 328,268, making New York almost 61 times larger.

That disparity does not carry over to home stadiums. MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where the Jets and the Giants play, is the largest in the NFL, with a capacity of 82,500, but Lambeau Field is second at 81,441.
