Having prior conversations with Missouri throughout the summer, Jordan Haskins picked up an offer from the Tigers on Friday.
The Class of 2027 four-star cornerback received his scholarship from assistant director of player personnel Christian Heinz, who sees Haskins as a versatile option in the secondary. Safeties coach Jacob Yoro and graduate assistant Bo Els have pushed for the prospect to visit in either October or November.
“I like how Coach Heinz made me feel welcomed and was open about my recruitment,” said Haskins, the No. 196 recruit in the Rivals300. “He said they really liked me and my game and they could see me playing at Missouri.”
Heinz extended three offers to Class of 2027 defensive backs Friday. Two of those new targets, three-star safeties Myles Baker and Jordan Holman, plan to visit Oct. 11. Haskins and Holman both hail from Kentucky, playing for Lexington (Ky.) Bryan Station and Versailles (Ky.) Woodford County, respectively.
“For us to be able to just open up other pockets that we may have connections to and be able to really get the information we need in the recruiting process, I think that always benefits the program,” Yoro said in July ahead of fall camp.
During his sophomore season, Haskins totaled four interceptions for 115 yards and 80 tackles. The 6-foot, 185-pound athlete also accounted for 221 receiving yards and 100 rushing yards.
