Cordell Volson injury: Bengals guard hurt during training camp, will miss preseason game

Guard Cordell Volson hasn't missed a game during his first three seasons with the Bengals.

Cincinnati Bengals guard Cordell Volson suffered a right shoulder injury during Friday's training camp practice at Paycor Stadium.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Volson is not expected to play in Monday night's preseason game against the Washington Commanders. Volson's timeline beyond that isn't known.

Cody Ford, a backup at several offensive line spots, worked out on the rehab field during practice Saturday.

Volson hasn't missed a game during his first three seasons with the Bengals. He's started 48 of the 50 games in which he's played.

In the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Bengals selected Volson from North Dakota State.
