Voting on preseason player of the year polls runs Monday through Thursday, with the weekly winner announced each Friday.
Congratulations to Chase Ballinger of Sussex Academy boys soccer, who received the most votes in the Delaware Online Preseason Boys Soccer Player of the Year poll, presented by Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists.
Ballinger won an online vote over four other nominees.
Preseason Player of the Year voting in girls volleyball will begin Aug. 18 on Delaware Online and run through Aug. 21. The winner will be announced Aug. 22.
