AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (54-59) lost 4-3 (BOX SCORE)

Garcia made another rehab start and pitched really well allowing 1 run over 4.2 innings while striking out 6. The offense got on the board in the 4th inning on a Short 2 run single. In the 6th, Short added a solo HR. Pecko came on in relief and pitched into the 9th but was pulled with 2 guys on. Hernandez was next in but he allowed a 3 run HR as the Bees took the lead. The offense was unable to respond and Sugar Land fell 4-3.

Note: Garcia has allowed 1 run over his last 8.2 innings.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (37-72) lost 8-3 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first on an Austin RBI single. Mayer got the start for the Hooks but struggled allowing 6 runs over 3 innings. The Hooks got 2 runs back in the 5th on a Martinez 2 run HR. Tredwell went 4 innings in relief allowing 2 runs but the offense was quiet the rest of the way as the Hooks fell 8-3.

Note: Tredwell has a 2.57 ERA in Double-A.

A+: Asheville Tourists (45-63) lost 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the 4th scoring 2 runs on a Nunez RBI double and Whitaker sac fly. McPherson got the start and pitched well allowing 1 run over 4.2 innings. Rodriguez struggled a bit in relief allowing 3 runs as the Dash took the lead. The Asheville offense was quiet the rest of the way and the Tourists fell 4-2.

Rodriguez got the start and went 3 innings allowing 3 runs. The offense got on the board in the 3rd on a Powell RBI double. The offense added another in the 5th on a Daudet RBI single. Rosario went 3.2 scoreless in relief but the offense was unable to comeback as the Woodpeckers dropped game one, 3-2.

Aguilar got the start in game two and was great tossing 5 no-hit innings with 8 strikeouts. The offense got on the board in the 4th on a Walker sac fly and Ramirez bases loaded walk. In the 5th, Huezo drove in another run on a bases loaded walk. Frias closed it out with 2 scoreless innings as the Woodpeckers won 3-0.
