This is encouraging for Stanton.
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton to break three-year drought this week originally appeared on The Sporting News
The Yankees have won back-to-back games for the first time in a couple of weeks, beating the Twins on Monday and Tuesday.
Aaron Judge finally hit his first home run since returning from his injury on Tuesday night.
Judge will slowly become the reliable hitter we know him to be over the next few weeks, but for now, he won't be able to make an impact in the field just yet.
Giancarlo Stanton was forced to pivot to playing in the outfield while Judge is the DH, something Stanton hasn't done often in quite some time.
Stanton will continue having that role in the lineup for now, which will break a drought for Stanton, in a personal streak that hasn't happened since 2022.

What drought will Stanton break?
Talkin' Yankes reported that Stanton is set to play three consecutive days in the outfield for the first time since May of 2022.
Stanton has managed this role well so far, making positive plays in the outfield.
In addition to his on-field success so far, his impact as a hitter has helped the Yankees pick up some vital wins recently.

He's homered in back-to-back games, including a 447-foot home run on Tuesday. He also has six RBIs in his last four games played.
Seeing Stanton heat as the postseason approaches is a great sign for the Yankees.
They're fighting to stay in the seeding for the postseason right now, but they have a good chance to make it if Stanton starts to heat up.
Last postseason was a great example of how quickly the momentum can shift in Giancarlo's favor, as he had 16 RBIs and 7 home runs in last year's postseason run.
