Hussey was preparing for his junior year at Florida State, though he dealt with injuries during his sophomore campaign. All told, during his two years at FSU, he totaled 40 tackles and an interception. No reason has been given for Hussey’s departure.
Hussey arrived in Tallahassee in 2023 as a highly rated a recruit. A product of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas, he was a four-star prospect and the No. 217 overall player from the cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.
