I’ve never seen anything like this one, the daily transfer hype we are seeing around this move is just ridiculous and odd.

Every day we are basically hearing about Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea, but nothing has really advanced yet, and still hasn’t now with Fabrizio Romano’s latest update on it.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea offered chance to sign Premier League centre back and it’s not Marc Guehi!

Just when Chelsea need to be concentrating on signing a new goalkeeper and a new centre back due to the injury to Levi Colwill, we are hearing daily updates from Fabrizio Romano and others on how Chelsea are going to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.

Romano also did put out what he knows about a new centre back coming in yesterday, but I don’t think any other transfer rumour is going to get as much hype and as much media noise than Garnacho to Chelsea is getting, especially directly from Romano. It is really very odd and I’ve never seen anything like this.

Chelsea are in talks to sign him, but nothing has even been described as advanced yet but it feels like Chelsea have already signed him and are 100% signing him.

Last night, Romano has another report on Garnacho to Chelsea and guess what, we’ve stepped up talks again apparently, because I swear I’ve already hear we have stepped up talks last week!

Romano posted on X:

‘Chelsea steps up talks for Garnacho as club-to-club discussions with Man United are now well underway! The player only wants Chelsea! Personal terms were agreed upon, and fee negotiations are ongoing. He IS expected to become a Chelsea player!’

I’ll be glad when he’s joined

Not because I want him (I’m not even 100% against it either), but because I’m sick of hearing about it every single day!
