Georgina Rodriguez announces engagement to Cristiano Ronaldo, shows off gaudy diamond ring

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most famous athletes on the planet, so any news about his personal life is going to move the needle. And the diamond he gave his new fiancee? That’ll definitely move the needle.

ESPNFC shared a picture of the gigantic rock Ronaldo gave to his new fiancee, Georgina Rodriguez. You have to see it to believe it.

“Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” Rodriguez wrote in Spanish while sharing a picture of the ring on Instagram. Check it out below.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been dating Rodriguez for the past eight years but finally opted to take the leap and get engaged. Ronaldo and Rodriguez have five children in total between them, four from their current relationship and one from a previous relationship of Ronaldo’s.

The soccer superstar is among the wealthiest athletes in the world. He topped Forbes’ 2025 list, beating out basketball star Steph Curry, boxing legend Tyson Fury, football star Dak Prescott and soccer legend Lionel Messi.

According to Forbes, Cristiano Ronaldo was set to make $275 million in 2025. Of that, $225 million came in the form of on-field earnings, while $50 million came in off-field endorsement type earnings.

Cristiano Ronaldo launches hit YouTube channel

Ronaldo made headlines last year when he launched his own YouTube channel. The channel immediately took off and began setting growth records.

In a matter of hours from the launch, Cristiano Ronaldo had collected seven million subscribers. About a year later the YouTube channel has 76.3 million subscribers, a simply breathtaking total.

Ronaldo has accomplished incredible things in his legendary soccer career, having spent more than two decades at clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. He’s won 33 trophies, five UEFA Champions Leagues, five Ballon d’Or awards, and three UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Awards (a record).

Cristiano Ronaldo also has the record for most appearances, goals, and assists in both the Champions League and European Championship. He also currently has the record for most international goals and international appearances. Ronaldo has scored more than 930 career goals for club and country, making him the top goal scorer of all-time.
