Jason’s sideline shoutout to wife Kylie.
Jason Kelce Sends Message to Wife Kylie Kelce on Saturday originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Kylie Kelce was on the pitch Saturday for an NWSL matchup between the Gotham FC and Washington Spirit, not as a sideline spectator, but as a presenter for Gotham FC’s "Keep Her in the Game" initiative.
The match marked the one-year anniversary of Gotham’s social-impact program in partnership with New Jersey Youth Soccer and South Bronx United, a campaign that aims to support and empower girl players and reduce the number who drop out of sports early (by age 14).
Ahead of kickoff, Kelce introduced a short film called "Fans of Confidence," a piece that flips the usual script by having pro players publicly cheer on girls from youth programs, and spoke about why encouraging girls to compete in youth sports is so important.
Among the first to react to Kylie's show of support was her husband and former NFL All-Pro center, Jason Kelce, who responded to a post, "Sports build character, way to go Ky! 🤤🤤🤤."

Kylie Kelce's Sports Background and Podcast
Kylie is a former collegiate field hockey player and a four-year starter at Cabrini University, where she earned Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honors across her college career and later returned to coaching youth field hockey at her alma mater, Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
Since stepping into a higher-profile public role, Kelce has broadened her platform in measurable ways.
Her weekly podcast, "Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce," debuted in December 2024 and quickly rose to the top of Apple and Spotify charts; People.com reported that the show reached No. 1 on major podcast lists shortly after the first episode launched on Dec. 5.
She also maintains a large social media following (2.6 million Instagram followers), which she uses to promote her podcast as well as different causes and events.
Kylie and Jason Kelce's Philanthropy and Community Work
Kylie and Jason have been visibly active in charity and community programs.
Jason's "Team 62 at the Ocean Drive" fundraiser and related events have raised seven-figure totals for the Eagles Autism Foundation.
The Eagles organization reported this year’s Ocean Drive fundraiser raised more than $1 million and the Team 62 initiative has contributed millions to autism research and care programs since its start.
Kylie’s involvement ranges from hands-on youth clinics and coaching to public-facing partnerships (notably with Dove’s Body Confident Sport initiative).
Research cited by Dove and others shows a substantial drop-out rate for girls in sports tied to body-confidence issues; programs like Gotham’s and Dove’s target that measurable problem by focusing resources on coaching, representation and messaging.
Kylie's role as a former college athlete, coach and now media host ties an identifiable public figure to a defined public-health and participation issue, helping move a national conversation into local programming and fundraising.
