Browns PFF Grades: How did Shedeur Sanders and company grade out vs. Panthers?

In a surprising fashion, the Cleveland Browns had an impressive night on offense that started with the success of rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

With the help of various running backs in the rushing attack, Sanders led the offense to three successful scoring drives. He also had a 60% completion percentage with two touchdowns and no interceptions — a small representation of his impressive 79.8 grade. On his completions, he often found the top PFF offensive player for the Browns in this game, rookie wide receiver Luke Floreia. These two, along with undrafted wide receiver Gage Larvardain, were all the buzz in the preseason win over the Carolina Panthers.

The team also saw solid production from their offensive linemen, with four of them finding their way onto the top-10 list of PFF scores from Friday's preseason game. Luke Wypler started the game at center for the Browns and proved himself early and often against the Panthers' first-team defensive line. In his 34 snaps, he finished with a 78.9 overall grade and an 82.3 pass-blocking grade. Bucky Williams filled in after Wypler for the remaining 35 offensive snaps and had a solid 71.3 overall grade in his NFL preseason debut. Overall, there were many surprises from all over the offensive depth chart.
