Inter Milan’s pursuit of Ademola Lookman has become the transfer soap opera of the summer.
The Nigerian international has done everything he can to push for the move. He has not been in training for over a week, having made a very public transfer request last weekend.
Meanwhile, Atalanta have rejected two bids from the Nerazzurri. Most recently an offer worth €45 million with add-ons.

The antics of Lookman have already put pressure on Atalanta.
La Dea know that they have a full-blown problem on their hands. Lookman has dug in his heels and done everything he can to show that he doesn’t want to stay at the club.
Nevertheless, Atalanta have played things close to the chest so far.
There has been no sign of the Bergamo club relenting despite Lookman trying to force their hands.
However, reports Tuttosport, Inter ultimately believe that time is on their side.
The last thing Atalanta want is to go into the last week or two of the transfer window with no resolution to this transfer saga.
Therefore, Tuttosport reports, Inter expect that at a certain point, the Bergamo club will take a more open and conciliatory stance in negotiations.
