Real Madrid have late this week registered an up-and-coming member of the club’s attacking ranks with La Liga.
The player in question? Gonzalo García.
Frontman Gonzalo has for his part of course taken his place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital over the last 48 hours.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the 21-year-old had been handed a new long-term contract, after something of a breakout summer at the Club World Cup.
Not only that, but Gonzalo was handed a new jersey number, taking ownership of the 16 shirt in Xabi Alonso’s squad.
And as alluded to above, the good news has since only continued to come flooding in for the talented young goalscorer.
As showcased in the screenshot below, provided by ‘Madrid Xtra’ on ‘X’, Gonzalo has now been officially registered for La Liga play, as a member of Real Madrid’s first-team squad.
