Two leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona have late this week forwarded heartfelt messages the way of teammate Iñigo Martínez.
This of course comes as the experienced defender prepares to bring an imminent close to the Blaugrana chapter of his career.
As confirmed by a whole host of sources across the media over the last 48 hours, Iñigo, in search of one final pay day in his advancing career, has agreed on the terms of a move to Saudi Arabia, with Al-Nassr.

Iñigo will terminate his contract at Barcelona with immediate effect and join Al Nassr as free agent.

As much marks a heavy blow for a Barcelona side who depended heavily on the 34-year-old last season.
Iñigo is known to have been an important presence in Hansi Flick’s squad not only on the pitch, but in the dressing room, too.
And as alluded to above, late this week, two of the stopper’s soon-to-be former teammates have therefore moved to pay tribute to Iñigo.
First, Lamine Yamal took to Instagram, to write:
‘Thank you for everything my captain’

And this message was soon followed by a similar one on the part of Gavi, who wrote:
‘Best of luck in your new stage bro. I’m going to miss you my warrior’
