Bassem Srarfi remains loyal to Club Africain. Despite intentions to leave, the right winger has ultimately decided to stay put.

He is staying at the request of the club's new coach, Faouzi Benzarti, at Beb Jedid. The 28-year-old player has signed a new two-year contract, keeping him at the club until June 2027.

After a first stint at CA between 2015 and 2017, the Tunisian international went on to play for Nice, Zulte Waregem, and Al-Arabi.

He returned home in 2023 and has since featured for the club, recording 15 goals and 10 assists in 82 appearances in the famous Red and White kit.

For Club Africain, the 2025-2026 Tunisian Ligue 1 season will kick off with a home clash against Avenir Sportif de la Marsa this Saturday, August 9, at 3:30 p.m. at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Rades.
