Following Morice Norris’ terrifying injury, which led Friday’s preseason game between the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons to be suspended, an update emerged on his status. The Lions said he was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Detroit coach Dan Campbell also shared an update on Norris. He said the second-year DB was breathing and talking. He also had some movement, which wasn’t immediately clear after the injury.

Friday’s game was suspended in the fourth quarter in light of the injury. The Lions held a 17-10 lead at the time of the decision.

“Some positive information on him. He’s at the hospital. I’ll have to just leave it at that,” Campbell told reporters in his press conference. “But when something like that happens, it puts things in perspective. So, just praying for Mo. I ask that everybody prays for him.”

This story will be updated.
