Bowie came to USF from JUCO Blinn College in Texas in 2023, and he did not play during his first year in Tampa. The Texas native’s retirement leaves a gap in experience at the backup guard spot for the Bulls heading into the season, which younger players like redshirt freshman Braden Carter, freshman Khalil Collins, and freshman Gerrick Gordon will aim to fill as the fourth guard in the rotation.
