Spanish international Álvaro Morata is all set to take his talents back to Serie A, with Como.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Friday provided the latest on the striker’s situation.
Morata’s future has of course emerged as a headline talking point across the European media across the summer to date.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the aforementioned Como had set their sights firmly on his signature.
Morata is currently in the midst of a loan stint with Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray, after departing parent club AC Milan back in January.
Negotiations, in turn, had long been kicked into gear between all three clubs, with a view to sending the experienced goalscorer to Como.
And as alluded to above, late this week, an agreement for as much has finally been reached.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:
‘Álvaro Morata to Como, here we go! Deal agreed with Galatasaray for fee close to €5m as compensation to break the loan. Authorization for medical and travel next: Como will now sign Morata from AC Milan on loan with obligation to buy.’
