Randall Cobb is already making a name for himself as a college football analyst on the SEC Network. Now, the former Cat and NFL Pro Bowler is trying his hand at reality television.

Cobb is one of 18 celebrities featured on season four of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, FOX’s reality TV show that it bills as the “ultimate celebrity social experiment.” Cobb and the all-star cast will compete to prove they can survive demanding training exercises led by ex-Special Forces operatives in the deserts of Morocco. FOX says this season will feature “some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process.”

Cobb isn’t the only member of the cast with Kentucky ties. Winchester, Ky. native Brittany Cartwright, who rose to stardom on “Vanderpump Rules” and “The Valley,” will also seek to prove she has the physical, mental, and emotional resilience to be the last star standing. Other familiar names include former NFL player Eric Decker and his wife, country music artist Jessie James Decker; Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her daughter Gia; Heisman winner and former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel; and actor/singer Jussie Smollett, who was accused of staging a hate crime hoax in 2022. Even though the cast features spouses and relatives, all of the contestants will compete as individuals.

Here is the entire cast:

  • Kody Brown: TV Personality – Sister Wives
  • Brittany Cartwright – TV Personality
  • Randall Cobb – NFL Pro Bowler
  • Eric Decker – Former NFL Player
  • Jessie James Decker – Country Music Artist
  • Andrew East – Former NFL player
  • Shawn Johnson East – Olympic Gymnastics Gold Medalist
  • Mark Estes – Internet Personality
  • Teresa Giudice – TV Personality
  • Gia Giudice – TV Personality
  • Chanel Iman – Supermodel
  • Brianna LaPaglia – Internet Personality
  • Johnny Manziel – Heisman Winner and Former NFL Quarterback
  • Eva Marcille – Actress & Model
  • Ravi V. Patel – Actor
  • Christie Pearce Rampone – World Cup and Olympic Soccer Champion
  • Jussie Smollett – Actor/Singer
  • Nick Young – NBA Champion

Does Cobb have what it takes to “endure the extreme circumstances of urban warfare”? I feel good about Goldeneyes’ chances against that group — as long as there are no tables for Teresa Giudice to flip.

Here’s more from FOX’s show description and a social media teaser. Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 4 premieres on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.

New this season, some recruits will arrive in pairs consisting of spouses and family members, but will compete individually. All recruits must learn the art of getting comfortable with being uncomfortable as they are faced with training challenges across the country’s expansive desert terrain, including a supply search in an abandoned village where they must race to extraction, a treacherous rat-run through dark and narrow tunnels, a plane shell dunk drill where pairs of recruits will be submerged underwater and must escape, a death-defying urban ladder crossing between buildings 50 ft above the urban streets, and much more. In this experiment, there are no votes and no eliminations – just survival. These celebrities, who are so used to being in the spotlight, will quickly learn the meaning of “no guts, no glory” – and no glam.
