Things aren't great in Dallas.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott had an NSFW reaction to Micah Parsons' trade request originally appeared on The Sporting News
Dak Prescott has been in these shoes, sort of.
A year ago, the Dallas Cowboys' star quarterback wanted his own contract extension. He never went so far as to request a trade, but he knows pretty well what Micah Parsons is going through.
That's part of what he shared with Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein in a new story out Wednesday:
“Not many people, especially here, have been in that position, so I know what that means just to support him.”
Prescott also shared with Epstein what he texted Parsons after the star defender announced a trade request:
"F—, man."

Prescott explained what he meant: “He knows what that means. It wasn’t f— you, Micah, or f— them. It’s more of a f—, this is frustrating for everybody involved.”
Frustrating indeed.
The Cowboys apparently haven't engaged in much negotiating of late with the best young defender on the planet.
Dallas owner Jerry Jones has said this is all just a part of the contract process.
But even as Prescott and CeeDee Lamb waited a while to get deals done, they never requested trades.

Parsons' social media message of, "I no longer want to be here," can't be a good sign, no matter what.
The pass rusher is entering the final year of his contract. When he gets a new deal, whether from the Cowboys or elsewhere, it's expected to be the largest one ever given to a non-quarterback.
He has at least 12 sacks in each of his first four NFL seasons, and the Penn State great doesn't show any signs of slowing down soon.
Cowboys fans are hoping they don't have to repeat that language Prescott used in his text to Parsons, but that's certainly been what the mood has felt like lately for Dallas.
