Le Havre Athletic Club has landed its new striker. The Normandy-based club has just officially announced the signing of Tanzanian forward Ally Samatta.
The club broke the news through a statement released on its social networks: βAt 32 years old, this imposing figure, as discreet off the pitch as he is formidable in the box, has just signed for one season with HAC! Heβll wear the number 70 jersey.β
Without a club since his contract with PAOK Salonika in Greece ended, the 2015 African champion with TP Mazembe is set to experience a new league after stints in Tanzania, the DR Congo, Belgium, England, Turkey, and Greece.
The Dar es Salaam native comes in to replace Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan Koka, who recently joined El-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.
