As Tom Brady celebrated his special day, he couldn't help but reflect on the legendary career he had in the NFL.
Brady turned 48 on Sunday, and naturally, he received plenty of greetings and tributes from all over the sports world. Even the NFL greeted him and shared the ultimate flex, posting a photo of him showing off his seven Super Bowl rings.
Tom Brady's Stats That Are Simply Too Crazy
Meanwhile, Bleacher Report took an interesting route to celebrate Brady's birthday. To remind fans of his greatness, the publication compiled a list of the craziest stats that the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback accomplished throughout his legendary career.
"TOM BRADY'S STATS THAT DON'T FEEL REAL," BR's title card on its post stated, before presenting the stats as follows:
- More Super Bowl rings (7) than any NFL franchise
- Better percentage of making the Super Bowl (45.5%) than a Steph Curry 3-pointer (42.3%)
- Never took a snap while mathematically eliminated from playoffs
- .500 or better record against every NFL team
- More yards and touchdowns in his 40s than in his 20s
- 2nd-most receiving yards ever for a player over 40 years old (1 catch, 6 yards)
- Has played in 17% of all Super Bowls in history
- Had three separate Hall-of-Fame careers in one (20s, 30s, 40s)
- More career SB wins (7) than losses to division rival Bills (3)
- During his career, six players were drafted, played and went into the HOF
Among the stats Bleacher Report shared, the fact that he has more yards and touchdowns in his 40s compared to his 20s particularly stood out. It also highlighted even further how Brady had three Hall-of-Fame careers in 23 years in the NFL.
According to the NFL, Brady had 21,564 passing yards, 147 passing TDs and three Super Bowl wins in his 20s. In his 30s, he recorded 40,018 yards and 309 passing TDs as he won two Super Bowls.
In his 40s, Brady tallied 27,362 passing yards and 193 passing TDs en route to two Super Bowl titles.

After seeing his insane career stats, Brady couldn't help but react to it.
On his Instagram Stories, he shared Bleacher Report's post and included a powerful message that further highlighted his approach to the game throughout his career.
