Solo Sikoa is still the United States Champion, but after Sunday night’s Steel Cage match with Jacob Fatu, fans were mostly left scratching their heads—and not just because of the finish.
The match opened with Jacob entering in a werewolf mask, while the champion came out first, drawing immediate boos from the crowd.

But as soon as the MFTs got involved, the match lost direction. Chaos took over and the structure of the bout fell apart. Big Jim even came out to even things up after Fatu was getting swarmed.
After a few wild near-falls—including back-to-back moonsaults from Fatu—it looked like we were building to a dramatic conclusion. Instead, Solo kind of…fell out of the cage?
What a way to win

The win looked more accidental than definitive. Even worse, the match didn’t hit the same standard as others on the card. Some called it the worst of the weekend.
To his credit, Jacob hit a top-of-the-cage moonsault after the bell, crashing onto Tonga Loa and JC Mateo like a man who wasn’t done proving a point.
But the moment had passed. And the title stayed with Solo.
