This usually isn't the norm for Sophie Cunningham.
Sophie Cunningham Switches It Up With Unusual Outfit for Fever-Storm Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Sophie Cunningham has emerged as a household name among the Indiana Fever faithful. Apart from what she brings to the table for the team during games, supporters have also been captivated with how the 28-year-old carries herself off the basketball court.
This includes Cunningham’s eye-catching game-day outfits, which have consistently drawn the attention of fans every single time.
Sophie Cunningham Goes Off-Beat on Sunday
Cunningham has spoiled her fans with her glamorous gameday looks whenever she hits the tunnel. However, the 6-foot-1 guard decided to switch things up for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Storm with a rather unexpected ensemble.
Cunningham’s outfit for the Fever-Storm game looked like she was heading to the gym for a workout session. The Indiana guard wore a long-sleeve white top, which she donned over a blue sports bra or athletic crop. For her bottoms, Cunningham went with high-waisted black biker shorts, which offered comfort while also highlighting a flattering silhouette.
She finished off her sporty and effortlessly stylish look with a pair of white sneakers and mid-crew white socks, a leopard-print tote bag and her hair worn in a side braid.

Cunningham’s outfit for Sunday’s contest was a totally different vibe from her chic and sophisticated look from the Fever-Wings game on Friday or her sleek and stylish ensemble against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday.
Cunningham Catches Fire Against Storm
The Fever notched their fifth straight win on Sunday by taking down the Storm, 78-74.
Cunningham played a significant role in the victory with a season-high 17 points, to go along with five rebounds and two assists in 33 minutes of action. She was highly efficient in this one, missing just one out of her six attempts from the floor. Cunningham also went 4-of-5 from three-point territory and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe.
Cunningham had been trending down a bit in the past few games. After scoring in double figures in six straight contests, she logged just single-digit points in two out of the last three matchups. Cunningham proved that her hot streak is not over yet, though, after she came out with one of her best performances of the season on Sunday.
Caitlin Clark still has no timetable for her return, and it does not seem like the Fever are going to get their cornerstone superstar back in the immediate future. This likely means that Cunningham will continue to start for head coach Stephanie White, giving her the opportunity to keep her run going for as long as she can.
