Still enjoying his NBA championship, Jalen Williams has run plenty of online victory laps. The 24-year-old has earned it. He kept quiet about his injured wrist during the Oklahoma City Thunder's ring run. Any questions about being good enough to be the second-best player on a contender were silenced.

Now, with it being August, Williams is getting ready for the 2025-26 season. He underwent surgery to fix a torn wrist ligament. He is set to be re-evaluated on Oct. 1, which gives him about three weeks of wiggle room to get ready by the regular season opener.

That said, Williams won't just sit around. He was at Unlimited Potential Basketball, which is a training facility run by NBA personal trainers. The company's social media accounts posted a couple of clips where Williams is working on his off-hand shooting as his right hand is still in a cast.

Williams played through the gnarly wrist injury in the playoffs. He went into detail about the limitations of the injury throughout the playoffs, not being able to properly shoot the ball with it and having to take pregame pain-numbing shots.

Since then, Williams has had quite the offseason. He was signed to a five-year contract extension to keep him on the Thunder for the foreseeable future. His ascension into an All-NBA player helped OKC become one of the greatest teams ever last year.

At 24 years old, Williams has plenty of room to grow. What he's done over the last three offseasons has helped him make leaps. Let's see what else he can do with a limited summer, as the Thunder's offseason is shorter than most because of their playoff run, and his surgery won't let him fully work out.
