Leyton Orient head coach Richie Wellens is given a three-match touchline ban for verbally abusing a match official.
Leyton Orient head coach Richie Wellens has been given a three-match touchline ban following his red card during their defeat by Huddersfield Town.
Wellens was sent off after the final whistle of the 2-1 defeat as Ryan Ledson scored the winner for the Terriers in the 15th minute of added time.
He was charged by the Football Association for entering the field of play to confront and/or use abusive or insulting words towards a match official, as well as the same immediately after being sent off and around the changing room after the game.
Wellens admitted the charges with an independent commission handing down the sanction, which includes a £4,000 fine.
He will miss the final two games of the O's season, away at Blackpool on Saturday and at home to Burton Albion on 2 May.
They are currently 19th in the table, three points above Exeter City in the relegation zone.
