Miami Dolphins quarterback and former Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers threw a gorgeous pass during training camp on Saturday.
Ewers rolled out and threw a deep pass to third-string tight end Tanner Conner. It was right on the money, and Conner caught it before running out of bounds.

Ewers will have the chance of being Tua Tagovailoa's backup once the 2025 season starts after he was drafted in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He helped lead the Texas Longhorns to the semifinals of last season's College Football Playoff before they lost to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Longhorns are one of the favorites to win this season's national title and will have DeAndre Moore Jr. back to try and accomplish that goal. He caught passes from Ewers last season and compared the way the ball comes out to new Longhorns starting quarterback Arch Manning.
"Arch's football comes with a little bit more of a zip," Moore told the media. "Quinn's were a little bit more of a pillow, a little bit of a cushion, kind of lofting it in there."
Despite the differences, Ewers had a good 2024 college season, finishing with 3,472 yards through the air, 31 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
He will get quite a bit of playing time during the preseason as he tries to win the backup quarterback job from Zach Wilson.
The Dolphins will play their first preseason game on August 10 against the Chicago Bears. Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET.
