Transfer window: Besiktas tries to convince Wilfred Ndidi

After eight seasons at Leicester City, Wilfred Ndidi is closer than ever to leaving.

According to several reliable sources, Turkish club Besiktas has reached an agreement with Leicester for a transfer estimated at €10 million. The Nigerian midfielder, who joined in 2017, has been a key figure for the Foxes. However, Leicester's recent relegation to the Championship, following a disappointing season that ended with just 25 points, has pushed Ndidi to seriously consider his future.

While Leicester is ready to let him go, the final decision rests with the player. Ndidi wants to make sure that Besiktas' sporting project aligns with his ambitions before giving the green light. Other clubs are also monitoring his situation, but the Istanbul side seems to be in pole position. A resolution is expected in the coming days as the 2025/26 season approaches.
