No one knows for sure who will be the biggest high school sports stars in Rockford this year. But these are the biggest names heading into season.
As the 2025-26 high school year rounds the corner, it's time to start getting ready for another big year of action around the Rockford area.
And as all of the fall sports close in, with Aug. 11 as the first day most teams can practice, it's really time to prepare in a big way.
So once again, we compiled a list of many of the athletes who could be key to their team's success during their 2025-26 seasons. This is not all of the sports stars we have in the area, and we will continue to add to this list as the year goes on, but this will act as a nice starting point.
