Liverpool have conducted a record-breaking transfer campaign this summer. Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong and Giorgi Mamardashvili have all arrived to strengthen Arne Slot’s squad.
Those players cost in excess of £260m - and there could be even MORE to come if Richard Hughes has his way. We could see Alexander Isak top Wirtz’s British transfer record - while shortages at centre-back could see the Reds sign a new defender.

But the club have also been busy adding the best talent of the next generation too. Armin Pecsi - a highly-rated 20-year-old goalkeeper - has arrived from Puskás Akadémia in Hungary.
He will initially be placed with the under-21s - but could well end up as a senior option in the years to come.
Wright makes Liverpool debut
The Reds have also been competing with Arsenal for the signing of Will Wright - a prolific goalscorer at various age-group levels for Salford City in League Two.
It seemed Arsenal had won the race for the striker - who has already played senior football for the Class of 92-owned side. But Liverpool managed to swoop in at the last minute - convincing Wright and his advisors that his future is best served at Anfield.
And now - to very little fanfare - Liverpool have CONFIRMED that Wright has been recruited.
In a match report concerning the U21s 0-0 preseason draw against Hull City at Kirkby, it has been revealed that Wright made his debut.
Liverpool's the place to be for young players
Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet the teenager will be ecstatic to have got his Liverpool career up and running.
“Summer goalkeeping arrival Armin Pecsi played a full 90 minutes, while striker Will Wright made his debut for the last 30 minutes, one of 10 outfield changes for the Reds on the hour mark,” the report reads.
“Wright almost made a dream debut seven minutes from the end, reacting well when a shot was deflected in the box. However, the sprawling goalkeeper kept it out on the line.”
