Chelsea have confirmed the signing of highly-rated Ajax defender Jorrel Hato.
Hato becomes the fourth summer arrival at Stamford Bridge after the newly crowned world champions brokered a reported €40m (£34.8m) deal.
The Netherlands international, who can play at centre-back and left-back, made over 100 appearances in two seasons with the Amsterdam outfit and also captained the side.
He previously attracted interest from the Blues' London rivals Arsenal last year before agreeing a new long-term contract at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.
Hato has penned a seven- year contract with Enzo Maresca's side.
