Cade Cunningham has the greatest player exclusive shoe of all time, and I’m ready to argue with you if you think that’s up for debate. One word to describe it—gorgeous. Not only does the shoe look great, the silhouette is one of the most respected kicks in the basketball community: the Nike G.T. Cut 3.
Somehow, someway, this shoe absolutely has to release to the public. It’s a top-tier performance shoe, made for a star young player, and features one of the most stunning designs in basketball shoe history. Just sign me up.
This shoe is perfect for Cade. You have to assume that he’ll get his own signature sneaker at some point, but this is more than a good start. I hope he sticks with this same inspiration for his future shoes. The galaxy look is one of a kind. I almost got just as excited for this PE as I did the time I asked my mom for her phone just to unlock the Fortnite Galaxy skin a few years ago.
Cade Cunningham has improved every single year, and he’s now the shining star in Detroit. He averaged 26.1 points, 9.1 assists, and 6.1 rebounds over 70 games in the 2024–25 season, shooting 46.9% from the field and 35.6% from three. He joined Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history to average at least 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 9 assists in a season at age 23. His breakout campaign earned him his first NBA All-Star selection and helped lead Detroit back to the playoffs. The team is playing on a different level and is in a position to reach heights they haven’t seen in years.
