Photos: New Real Madrid signing arrives in Spain for the first time

A member of the summer recruitment list at La Liga giants Real Madrid has this weekend officially touched down in Spain’s capital.

The player in question? Franco Mastantuono.

Youngster Mastantuono of course completed his long-awaited Real Madrid switch last month.

Following months of rampant speculation, Los Blancos beat out widespread competition for the signing of one of world football’s most exciting young talents.

After playing his part in River Plate’s campaign at the Club World Cup, Mastantuono has since been enjoying a well-earned vacation.

Next week, though, the 17-year-old will be expected at Valdebebas to begin training with Xabi Alonso’s star-studded squad.

And as alluded to above, with as much in mind, Mastantuono has on Saturday arrived in the city he will call home for the foreseeable future.

In photos unveiled by Diario AS, the Argentine international was spotted at the airport, before stopping to sign autographs for a group of awaiting fans:
