The Los Angeles Rams could make one of the best picks in the draft come 2026.
The Los Angeles Rams are one of the favorites to come out of the NFC and play in the Super Bowl. That said, they don't know how much longer they'll have Matthew Stafford under center.
Luckily for Los Angeles, they have an additional first-round pick in 2026 after the Atlanta Falcons traded back into the first round in the 2025 Draft to select James Pearce Jr. Having that extra pick could pay dividends for the Rams, and Jacob Infante of PFSN predicts that the Rams will take South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers with the No. 10 overall pick.
"Matthew Stafford is still playing at a high level, but he’s 37 years old," Infante writes. "The Los Angeles Rams have two first-round picks in 2026, and it might be a good idea for them to invest in Stafford’s eventual successor at quarterback with one of them. LaNorris Sellers isn’t the consensus QB1 in the 2026 class, but he might have the best physical tools of any quarterback in college football. Sellers is strong-armed, athletic, tough to sack, and more accurate than he gets credit for. If there’s any head coach in the NFL who could refine his game, it’s Sean McVay."
Should the Rams land Sellers - one of the top quarterbacks in the nation - for McVay to develop, they could skip any sort of rebuild all together.
