Ahead of this weekend’s WWE SummerSlam event at MetLife Stadium, New York Giants legend Eli Manning took part in a hilarious WWE-style promo battle with old teammate Shaun O’Hara.
WWE will take over MetLife Stadium this weekend for a special two-night edition of its yearly summer extravaganza, SummerSlam. To advertise the event that will feature celebrities Jelly Roll and Cardi B, the company has done some unique cross-promotion.
One of them was working with Giants greats Eli Manning and his former teammate and center, Shaun O’Hara. However, instead of having them do something football-related, the two fan-favorites actually took part in a promo battle. With WWE stars Bianca Belair and the tag team, the Street Profits, looking on. And it delivered comedy gold.

Eli Manning calls Shaun O’Hara ‘Shaun NO’Hara’
What makes the bizarre video posted to the New York Giants’ social accounts (via “The Eli Manning Show“) so great is that the pair don’t take it easy on each other. And Manning specifically got in some pretty strong digs on his long-time pal.
“In the locker room, we called you the tiny blocker,” Manning tells O’Hara. The three-time Pro Bowler retorts by saying that if he thought he would cry about the idea of being drafted by the Chargers in 2004, he would give him a real reason to cry.

In response, Manning says, “Shaun O’Hara, it should be Shaun NO’Hara,” and points to the former center’s thinning hair. That one got major praise from the WWE stars. But his follow-up was even better.
“I’m so good, you’ve got my name written on your pants,” Manning then noted about the Elite logo on O’Hara’s shorts. That one made all in attendance lose their minds and declare Manning as the winner. It’s a fun segment well worth the full watch.
