Paige Bueckers has garnered a lot of attention over the past year. She went from winning a National Championship at the University of Connecticut to being drafted No. 1 overall in the WNBA draft by the Dallas Wings.
Bueckers also recently announced her formal relationship with UConn star, Azzi Fudd and Bueckers is also in the midst of a phenomenal rookie season in the WNBA.
However, not all of Bueckers' rookie season has been smooth sailing. Bueckers' Wings currently hold a record of 8-20 (third worst in the league) and they've lost seven of their last nine games.
And despite Bueckers' offensive prowess through her first 22 games of her WNBA career, she currently ranks dead last in one clutch statistic.
As per @PolymarketHoops on X, Bueckers is shooting 16.7% from 3-point range in clutch minutes (with a minimum of 10 attempts).

Clutch minutes are defined as the last five minutes of a game that's within a 5-point-differential. She is currently 2-for-12 from 3-point range in clutch minutes this season.
While Bueckers is struggling from long distance during clutch minutes, she is not shying away from the moment. She ranks third in the WNBA in clutch field goal attempts (27).
As for Wednesday night's showdown, Bueckers and the Wings fell to the Atlanta Dream 88-85. She went 1-for-3 from 3-pointers attempted in clutch minutes, including a missed game-tying attempt with 1.4 seconds remaining in regulation.
Bueckers' next chance to drain clutch, 3-pointers will come on Friday at 7:30 p.m. EDT against the Indiana Fever. Time will tell if Fever superstar, Caitlin Clark will make her return from injury against Bueckers and the Wings.
