What NFL teams could be in the market for Micah Parsons?

Micah Parsons wants out of Dallas, but what NFL teams would be willing to trade for his services?

The last time the Dallas Cowboys traded away its star player was in Jerry Jones' first year as owner of the team, when they traded away Herschel Walker to the Minnesota Vikings, which turned out to be the biggest trade in NFL history.

Walker was traded for a boatload of picks for the Cowboys, which included Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, Pro Bowl defensive back Darren Woodson, and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Russell Maryland.

At the time, many NFL experts thought the Cowboys had lost their minds trading their best player, but it paid off. Who's to say it couldn’t pay off here?

A Micah Parsons trade could bring in an equal amount of talent if the Cowboys play this right.  It could easily pay off big dividends in the future, especially if this year is another disaster.

The Cowboys could ask for and get almost anybody they wanted. They could get a star running back, which they desperately need, a veteran defensive player to replace Parsons, or draft another defensive player and have picks saved for future drafts.

Say what you want about Jerry Jones (and a lot could be said), but he knows how to draft and evaluate players. When they drafted Parsons, some questioned the pick, but he turned out to be the best player on the team.

The only question is, who are potential trade partners? Well, we know it can’t be anyone in the division, but what about a team like the Miami Dolphins? The Dolphins have their own issues with wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who said he wanted out after the Dolphins missed the playoffs. They could send Parsons to Miami for Hill and a bunch of draft picks; win, win

Both players would get what they want, and the teams would have a fair trade. But as of now, the Cowboys said they aren’t in the market to trade Parsons, so more than likely the two parties will kiss and make up before the season starts.
