Overall, it is fair to say that Teravainen proved to be a very solid addition to the Blackhawks' roster during the 2024-25 season. The 30-year-old forward was certainly a solid offensive contributor, as he recorded 15 goals, 43 assists, and 58 points in 82 games for the Original Six club. While his goal totals went down compared to past years, he undoubtedly made a nice impact when it came to his playmaking skills.
The only player who recorded more assists than Teravainen on the Blackhawks this past season was star youngster Connor Bedard. Furthermore, Teravainen finished third on the Blackhawks in points, so he certainly did his job for them last season.
Now, Teravainen's goal will be to put up another strong campaign for the Blackhawks in 2025-26 from here. If he improves his goal totals a bit and continues to make a big impact with his playmaking, he could have himself a very big year.
So far, it is clear that the Blackhawks made a good call bringing Teravainen back to Chicago. He has not only been made an impact offensively but has been a good veteran for their young players as they continue their rebuild.
