Morgan Rogers opened the scoring in the 14th minute following an assist from Donyell Malen. Ollie Watkins then doubled the lead early in the second half with a close-range header from Matty Cash’s cross. Cedric Teuchert pulled one back for the hosts shortly after, but Villa held firm to claim the win.
