Jackson Chourio came up hobbling a bit after rounding second on a triple against the Cubs on July 29
Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Jackson Chourio left the team’s contest against the Chicago Cubs after apparantly injuring his right hamstring in the fifth inning as he sprinted for a triple.
The star outfielder blasted a shot into center field and took full advantage of an overplay by Chicago Cubs MVP candidate Pete Crow-Armstrong. As the ball bounced off the wall, Chourio kicked it into high gear, but mere strides away from a standup triple, he pulled up as he appeared to experience discomfort.

After getting to third safely, Chourio could be seen trying to stretch his legs and pounding on his right hamstring before walking into the dugout as he was removed from the game.
Chourio’s offense had been reliable as of late after getting a hit in 21 of his last 22 games.
