PSG will face Tottenham Hotspur in 15 days for the UEFA Super Cup to kickstart their 2025-26 season. Nonetheless, Spurs could be looking to secure a player in time for this marquee matchup that allows one team to lift a trophy.
While PSG won the treble and marched to the FIFA Club World Cup final, the Parisians are beatable as Chelsea showed. Still, it will be a challenge for Tottenham to pull off what their Premier League rival did this summer.
Tottenham have added 24-year-old Mohammed Kudus to the squad, along with new manager Thomas Frank as they look to pull off the upset. However, one more move could be in the works ahead of the Super Cup final.

TBR Football reports that Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss has now emerged as a significant target. The report claims that El Khannouss could be available for around £25 million (€29 million / $33 million), thoughit’s also been rumored the Morocco international has a £22.5 million relegation release clause in his contract.
El Khannouss had an impressive first season in the Premier League with Leicester City and was one of the team’s top performers, even as the Foxes were relegated to the Championship.
His strong displays have caught the eye of several clubs, and there are unconfirmed reports that Leeds United are among those weighing up a move for the talented 21-year-old. The question will be whether this is a saga that’s wrapped up in a few days to have him ready for the Super Cup or drags on until the window closes.
