Napoli are reportedly increasing their focus on Manchester City outcast Jack Grealish after missing out on Dan Ndoye to Nottingham Forest.
While Ndoye had been the first choice for the wide role, they were not prepared to go beyond their offer of €35m plus €5m in add-ons for the Bologna man.

There was a list of potential alternatives and Grealish is seemingly climbing up the ranking, at least according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The England international turns 30 in September and his contract with Manchester City runs to June 2027.
That means he could be available on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season, giving both the player an opportunity to revitalise his career, and Napoli to keep him on a permanent basis.

Grealish has been cut out of the Manchester City squad during pre-season and told to find himself another club.
It is an extraordinary fall from grace considering he shattered records with the €117.5m transfer from Aston Villa in the summer of 2021.
The fact that he was on the Amafli coast this month for a summer vacation boosted hope he could consider Napoli, especially with the arrival of Kevin De Bruyne.
La Gazzetta dello Sport maintain Manchester City are asking for a total €45m to sell Grealish, while the player could accept a pay cut on his €10m per season net salary.
